SBS 6 reality star Monique Hansler is furious about the way in which channel colleagues Eline de Ruig, Eva Vloon and Patty Brard attacked her in Shownieuws. “She’s a horrible woman.”
It’s the last thing you expect from Shownieuws: a critical interview with a studio guest. Normally this program functions as Talpa’s propaganda show, in which even Peter Gillis is constantly licked, especially by Bram Moszkowicz and Evert Santegoeds. Peter’s fellow reality star Monique Hansler does get a cold shower.
Nasty Monique
Monique, known from Winter Vol Liefde and from tomorrow onwards in her own soap opera on SBS 6, was in the Shownieuws studio with Mike on Friday evening. Why? To promote the soap. However, that turned out a little differently than they had expected, because the two were mainly questioned about how they used Denise van der Laan.
The quite naive Denise was Mike’s girlfriend, moved with him and his mother to Spain for the soap to open a café there, but, as the previews of the SBS soap reveal, was treated incredibly poorly by Monique. Her relationship with mama’s boy Mike is now over.

Denise had to keep her break-up a secret for a long time due to all kinds of TV contracts, but last week she could no longer keep it because Monique and Mike used the break-up to trick the TV viewer. tease and lure them to their soap opera. Too painful, Denise thought, and that is why she confirmed the break for Boulevard’s camera.

She is not happy, also that I did not let her talk and that Mike was only allowed to speak and not her. She was not very happy about that.”

Celebrity photographer William Rutten thinks that is a strange comment. That dominant Monique complains that Mike was talking too much?! “I barely heard that Mike!”
Eline: “She also says that Denise only wants attention and publicity. Finally, she said: ‘Don’t ever do this to me again’ and asked if we don’t want to talk about her anymore.”

William is normally also a celebrity friend, but he doesn’t like Mike and Monique. “I think it is also necessary if you have been with this woman for a few weeks that you have to go to the psychologist.”
Horrible
Monique in particular is a puke, says William. “Yes, I am always very nice about everyone, I think the Shownieuws viewer knows that, but: what a horrible woman this really is. And that boy of hers, that son, should take off his diaper and just stand up for the people around him.”
