In the video, Bolsonaro admits that he wanted to damage his ankle ligament with a soldering iron. In his own words, he was ‘curious’ about what would happen. The 70-year-old Bolsonaro was arrested yesterday by the federal police because he allegedly wanted to flee. Bolsonaro was sentenced to 27 years in prison in September for allegedly attempting to stage a coup after the lost presidential elections in 2022. Brazil’s current president, Lula, did not want to comment on Bolsonaro’s arrest. According to him, ‘he will serve the sentence and everyone will know what he did’.
