Jennifer (Chastain) looks like she stepped out of an episode of Succession: SUV with driver and sumptuous outfits (not always in good taste). His family is so obscenely rich that they can afford to support artistic projects in less fortunate countries.
It was while taking care of a dance school in Mexico City that Jessica met Fernando (Hernández).

The attraction is fatal, the border is crossed but America is a land of opportunity only if you conform to the norm (there is also one for those who bring nothing except their talent, and Fernando is a champion).
Michel Franco in Dreams it spares us nothing of the cruelty, racism and arrogance of the world it faces. Which is ours. Worth seeing. With eyes wide open.
