In a family home in Liegiu, a community of very young mothers tries to organize their future. Jessica is determined to thwart a destiny already written: she will not abandon the child she is expecting as her mother did with her.

With the tools of documentary the Dardenne brothers review a moving case study and they tell us that family inheritance (before social) is a condemnation. But, for once, they sow seeds of optimism. Their teenagers are not prey to an immutable fate, they are on a journey.
