New information about the condition of amnesiac Bruce Willis

Retired from the acting career, the legend Bruce Willis, 70, is struggling with dementia.

His more accurate diagnosis is frontotemporal dementia (FTD), which has particularly affected his communication.

His wife Emma Heming Willis has previously told how Willis is able to exercise, but the ability to produce speech has decreased. The family has had to adapt to the situation and develop different ways to communicate with Willis.

Recently, Willis’ eldest daughter Rumer Willis, 37, commented on her father’s current condition on social media.

He replied in his Instagram stories to followers’ questions. Followers had inquired about his father’s condition.

– People often ask me this, but it’s a bit difficult to answer. The truth is, no one with FTD is doing very well, Rumer Willis shared on Instagram.

– Considering the circumstances, he is doing well, for someone with frontotemporal dementia, says the daughter.

He says that the usual “variables” are no longer functional to describe well-being in his father’s case.

Rumer also shared his own thoughts on the situation. He said that he is grateful for the time he gets to spend with his father and his own daughter Louetta with.

– I am happy and grateful that I can still go and hug him. When I go in there and hug him, whether he recognizes me or not, he can feel the love that I give him and I can feel his love as well, says Rumer.

– I still see the spark in him. I am happy that he can feel the love that I give. It feels really good, he continued.

Rumer Willis is Bruce Willis and his ex-wife Demi Moore’s eldest child. In addition to Rumer, they have two daughters together: Scout34 and Tallulah31.

With his current wife Emma Heming Willis, Bruce has two daughters: Evelyn11 and Mabel13.
