THEthe first episode of The Voice Seniorhosted by Antonella Clericiachieved a 22.6% share with an average of almost 3.3 million viewers. An announced success for the Friday night talent show dedicated to uvulas over 60, which this year sees two new entries among the coaches: Nek and Rocco Hunt. It’s time for blind auditions, the traditional blind auditions, which put competitors and coaches to the test, struggling with their auditory intuition. Tonight at 9.30pm on Rai 1 appointment with the second episode and with new performances, duets and exciting stories.
At the end of the first episode, Patrizia Palmieri joined the team Arisa. The contestant sang If by Ennio Morricone. Also in the team are Renzo Dell’Erba and Ottavio Nuzzolese. Tiziano Cavaliere instead with I shot the sheriff by Bob Marleyhas joined Nek’s group, the new coach who replaced the veteran Gigi D’Alessio.
Alessandra Aldrelli with the song America by Gianna Nannini won over the duo Clementino and Rocco Hunt, who enjoyed exchanging jokes with their “opponent” Nek. Anthony Jaffa and Felicita Farina also joined the Neapolitan team. Arisa and Nek duetted in the first episode, who thrilled the audience by performing I hear you of Matia Bazar.
The guests of the evening were Claudia Gerini and Leo Gassman who presented their latest film The truth is out by Davide Minnella and sung The cat and the fox by Edoardo Bennato.

Tonight the coaches (Loredana Bertè, Arisa, Rocco Hunt and Clementino, Nek) they will have to choose six other artists to carry until the end of the talent show. It is up to them to listen to the competitors, without being able to see them, and choose them only based on their voice.
In the “Blind” phase coaches can count on two “weapons”: the “Block” button, which prevents another coach from choosing a talent, and the “Second Chance” button, which allows each coach to have an artist perform again. Arisa gave the second chance to the Matera competitor Ottavioformer stutterer.

Nek and Rocco Hunt new coaches: good first match
Gigi D’Alessio’s absence was not felt thanks to the choice of Antonella Clerici and her staff to call Nek to replace the Neapolitan judge. The singer from Sassuolo who loves music and television (he was also host of the talent show From the street to the stage) proved himself suitable for the role. Nek he was fun, competent, punctual and never over the top.
Rocco Hunt also did his. With Clementino he brought an irrepressible energy to the program. Their strengths were friendship, authenticity and complicity.
How it works The Voice Senior
Arisa, Loredana Bertè, Nek and Clementino together with Rocco Hunt will have to select a total of 24 competitors who will advance to the semi-final. Only three over 60s per team will advance to the final. The public at home, via televoting, will decide the winner of the sixth edition of The Voice Senior.
