Dick Advocaat’s Curaçao managed to qualify for the World Cup. Trainer Rick Kruys was Advocaat’s assistant at FC Utrecht in the 2018-2019 season. The video analyst of FC Volendam is also a video analyst in Curaçao. “A world achievement to get to the World Cup with such a small country,” says an enthusiastic Kruys.
