Tomas Grekov doesn’t get excited about crickets. Four
Amazing Race Finland –in the second episode of the show’s third season, the contestants continue their adventure in Cambodia.
The contestants visit, among other things, a local school and look for a certain kind of flower in a field of lotus flowers.
They perform the first tasks with crickets. First, the contestants collect three kilograms of crickets in a bucket, after which they eat a plate of fried crickets.
The latter task creates challenges for several competitors. Social media influencer Tomas Grekov in particular is in trouble. Grekov has been a vegetarian all his life.
Grekov is horrified to see the task.
– Oh damn, he grunts.
– We really miss this job. I’ve been a vegetarian all my life, so this is a bit rude, Grekov continues.
– This is almost like a vegetable when there are insects, Grekov’s father-in-law Esko Rotola-Pukkila encourages.
For other competitors, the task is easier. Four
Rotola-Pukkila is excited to taste the crunchy and spicy taste of crickets. Grekov doesn’t think so.
Other racing couples also arrive. Arthur and Sara Sieppi and Mia “Millu” Haataja and Karoliina Tuominen eat crickets at the same time as a pained Grekov.
– This is like eating a slobber! Haataja inches.
Sara Siepi also has problems with crickets. Sieppi spends the night in his litter with water in his eyes.
– That took the last bit of appetite, Rotola-Pukkila whispers to Grekov.
