Four weeks of therapy after the incident

Farris, also known as T-Farris, said this in court in the defamation lawsuit brought by Thee Stallion, real name Megan Pete, against blogger Milagro Gramz. Accordingly, the rapper had to undergo four weeks of therapy that cost $240,000, as “Hot New Hip Hop” reported.

Defamation lawsuit: Gramz is said to have spread deepfake

According to “CBS,” Megan Thee Stallion herself is also expected to testify in court in Miami. The trial began there on November 17th. In her lawsuit filed in 2024, Thee Stallion alleges that Gramz harassed and intimidated her during and after Tory Lanez’s trial. According to the lawsuit, Gramz, whose real name is Milagro Cooper, distributed a sexually explicit deepfake video of the rapper on social media in 2024.

The exact origin of the video is unknown. However, it supposedly gained more attention in the first place because Gramz liked it on X and asked users to watch it.

“Defendant’s campaign of harassment”

Thee Stallion’s lawyers are citing a new Florida law that makes consciously sharing AI-altered sexual content illegal. “Enough is enough,” the lawsuit says. “Ms. Pete – a victim of violent crime and an advocate for women’s rights to her millions of fans worldwide – will no longer tolerate the defendant’s campaign of harassment.”

Background: Trial against Tory Lanez

The allegations against Gramz arose against the background of another court case – the trial against Tory Lanez, who shot Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. A Los Angeles jury found Lanez guilty in December 2020 of shooting her in the feet in Hollywood. His sentence was set at ten years in August 2023.

Megan Thee Stallion is now accusing Gramz and Lanez of initiating a smear campaign during the trial, which included the deepfake video.

Lanez has to testify again

Lanez must therefore also testify in the defamation case against Gramz. In September, he filed for a protective order to avoid testifying a third time. However, District Judge Lisette Reid of Miami-Dade did not grant the request. This means that Lanez has to make another statement.

Contempt of court and fine

In mid-November, Lanez and his attorney Crystal Morgan were also fined $20,000 for “obstructing the plaintiff’s multiple attempts to question him” in the defamation trial. Lanez was in contempt of court by not answering questions.

Judge Reid warned him he would face a fine if he continued to refuse. According to Rolling Stone, Lanez responded, “No matter what the fine is, I’ll pay it. I’m a millionaire. I don’t care.”

Diagnosis: post-traumatic stress disorder

Megan Thee Stallion was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of the shooting. The doctor who made the diagnosis will reportedly also testify at the trial.
