Dancer-choreographer Sami Saikkonen59, and his spouse Sonja Sorvolan the divorce process is still ongoing. The case was brought before the Helsinki District Court in May.
Now Saikkonen tells Stopthat his separation grief has lasted more than a year. The dancer says that she wanted to go through all the emotions in peace. Going through things and recovering meant for Saikkonen also weighing his own good and bad sides.
– I don’t want to take the old cultural backpack into a new relationship, Saikkonen says to the magazine.

Now Saikkonen is starting to see hope amid the divorce. Saikkonen has also learned good things about this unpleasant matter.
– I remember the feeling of falling in love again, even though nothing is going on. I’ve been sad for a really long time. Now it went away. I already see women around me, the dancer tells the magazine.
In May, Saikkonen commented to Iltalehte about his separation by briefly stating that “life unites, life separates”.
Saikkonen already told about his association’s difficulties in Seiska last summer. He said at the time that the couple was living separately when Sorvola got a job in London. At that time, Saikkonen said that the phase of life was complicated.
