I think if I bet on someone, it’s not good for them. First I bet on Oskar Pastry, then, when he fell behind, I put my money on Max Verstappen, then he fell behind. If I bet on Lando Norris now, then maybe he will fall behind. But what is certain? It has not yet been decided. I think Vegas for example. It could be that Max catches up hugely and becomes a candidate again. Or to one of the top candidates. If Lando has a good race, a solid race, then I think he can bring it home. But Las Vegas will definitely be interesting because McLaren was never good in Las Vegas and that’s why everyone expects a little bit. You don’t actually know why the knowledge comes, otherwise they would have changed it. But I, I, I’m still open about it. But for now. It looks like Lando for me or for me Lando Norris is the favorite at the moment because the last few races were already strong. What he, what he showed there.
For me he is not the favorite. I I have there. Uh, Mercedes, I think, will be strong there. That is my assessment. Cold. That’s why long straights. Mercedes has a good chance. Mercedes always comes. Either very good or mediocre. You have to say it like that. They’re not bad, they’re second in the World Cup. That’s why you can’t say bad, but they’re just so up and down. And sometimes they have a race and usually the races are where it’s cooler.
I mean, is that actually okay for the team? You can dress warmly. I don’t think that’s the problem. The biggest problem is always the tires. Formula one tires are not made for these temperatures. That’s why the tires always have to be at a minimum temperature. This isn’t about not jumping so that they don’t break, but also getting the tires up to temperature when you go out or the tire doesn’t cool down. For example, when racing during a safety car phase. It’s always very difficult to maintain the temperature when it’s so cold outside. That’s why the biggest challenge is tire management.
