The share of older students in teacher training is growing: more than 1 in 6 is over 40

Students in Flemish teacher training courses are getting older. ‘De Tijd’ writes this today based on the October counts of the Flemish Council of Universities of Applied Sciences, the official consultation and advisory body of the universities of applied sciences. A record number of more than one in six students in teacher training courses is over 40 this school year.
