The Belgian Red Cross-Flanders hopes to receive 6,300 blood donations from students during the autumn campaign and thus end the year at 12,000. The association of students of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Bemsa, has already done everything it can to fill the 128 places at the Kulak.
“With pleasure”
For some, donating blood is self-evident. Marthe Nuyttens: “It is now the third time for me to donate blood. I enjoy doing so. Because that is very important. It can literally save lives. I am also a medical student and I think we should set a good example.”
