“You have to make it a party,” says Anja Oud enthusiastically with the orange flags in her hand. With her husband René, she is one of the driving forces behind all the decorations in Beukenkampstraat. “It’s just fun to do this together. Decorate the street, have drinks and have a barbecue together.”
Orange water
For the residents of the Orange beech hornbill it’s actually nothing too crazy. René Oud: “We have a fountain with orange water spouting out of it, an orange caravan with a fortune teller in it and even orange ice cream.”
