THECommissioner Ricciardi and Lino Guanciale are back up Rai 1 and they made themselves heard. The first episode of the third season of the series, based on the novels by Maurizio de Giovanni, it achieved a 21.2% share and glued over 3.5 million viewers to the TV. The audience absolutely wanted to discover the personal developments of the policeman who sees and hears ghosts.
In the first episode, the love affair between Ricciardi and Enrica took center stage. It seemed done: Christmas Eve was supposed to be the day of the fateful marriage proposal, but instead the policeman ruined everything, destroying the plans of his beloved’s mother who now no longer wants to see him. What will happen in the second episode airing tonight at 9.30pm?

A horrible murder shocks the city of Naples: a pharmacist is found murdered with a cobbler’s awl in his skull and his eyes covered by a black blindfold. Is this a message from the regime to the police? Commissioner Ricciardi’s (Lino Guanciale) investigation becomes complicated when two other people are killed with the same execution method and the same violence. What connection is there between the victims?
For the first time Ricciardi and the trusted Brigadier Maione (Antonio Milo) they find themselves dealing with a serial murderermany decades before the very idea of “serial killer” appears in criminology textbooks. Behind those deaths lies something much bigger which has to do with the fascist regime.
Love for Enrica (Maria Vera Ratti) puts Ricciardi faced with the need to confess to the girl his curse, inherited from his mother. Tonight’s episode is titled The living and the dead. Will it be the dead, once again, who help the policeman solve the case of “the weevil killer”, one of the most complex of his career? Enrica, involuntarily, will lend him a hand.

Will Ricciardi ask for Enrica’s hand?
Although Christmas Eve didn’t go as Enrica and her mother hoped, the relationship between Ricciardi and his beloved becomes increasingly closer. Perhaps the time has come for Luigi to confess his curse to the person towards whom he has deep feelings. And if he does, how will Enrica react? His secret could be shared for the first time.
For Ricciardi it could represent a sort of liberation and no longer be so suffocated by the visions and voices of the ghosts that often torment him. There is another issue at stake: Luigi would like to make up for the evening that went wrong on Christmas Eve. Maybe the time has come to ask for Enrica’s hand? The girl’s mother, however, no longer wants to see Luigi.

The third season of Commissioner Ricciardi got off to a great start obscuring the Big Brother by Simona Ventura. The first episode totaled over 3.5 million viewers and a 21.2% share. The Canale 5 reality show stalled at 1.9 million viewers. In short, the commissioner continues to be liked by the Rai 1 audience and seems to have no rivals.
A new entry arrives in the cast, which will be good for Maioni: this is the simple agent Felice Vaccaro who looks incredibly like Luca, the brigadier’s deceased son. The man will take the young man under his wingwhile little Benedetta, who the public met in the last episode, has become part of her family.
