It really wasn’t the hardest group, but you have to win 8 games to 0 first. I now had the fun of looking through the statistics of all the qualifying games – the xG of the opponents was consistently less than 0.5 and a few times also less than 0.1.

I’m really looking forward to the World Cup to see whether Tuchel has managed to get more out of it and whether we’ll see a stronger England playing or whether Southgate is 2.0 and they’ll muddle along as far as they can. I’m not a big fan of the Three Lions, but I would give them big titles again and some players like Kane and so on!
