After just three minutes, Roeselare threatened for the first time through Debouver. They kept pressing and before half time they took a 2-0 lead through Hallaert and Deschilder.
After the break, Knokke came more into the game, but after a shot from Debouver the score was 3-0. The visitors did not simply give up. Braem was able to take advantage after a bad play-in pass. 3-1. Barely three minutes later the match was decided after Debouver scored the 4-1 final score.
