The showgirl decided to break the silence only after her son exposed himself personally, explaining how painful it had been to relive those steps. She then spoke openly about “gross exploitation” and how she ended up with it wearing labels and prejudices. “I’m what any mother would have done,” she declared with lights in her eyes. “Achilles was immediately a complicated child.”
