60 percent of traffic accident victims subsequently have symptoms of depression: “Behind every accident lies a disrupted life”

Six in ten people involved in a traffic accident subsequently experience symptoms of depression. Four in ten victims show these symptoms even ten years after the facts. This was reported by the Vias road safety institute on Sunday, on International Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.
