Germany qualified for the round of 16 at the U17 World Cup without defeat. Burkina Faso was now waiting there for the DFB selection.
Germany was eliminated from the U17 World Cup in the round of 16. The DFB selection failed 0-1 against Burkina Faso. The decisive goal came in the sixth minute. Burkina Faso captured a German bad pass and attacked for the first time.
Mohamed Zongo got the ball on the right side of the penalty area, hardly received any German resistance, moved inside and chased the ball into the far corner. A bitter setback for the DFB talents, who went into the game undefeated.
