Sinterklaas is back in the country! Together with the Piets and the parcel boat, the Goed Heiligeman arrived on Texel on Saturday morning. Thousands of children were ready on the quay to give a warm welcome to Santa, the Piets and the horse. The steamboat finally arrived just after twelve. It was still exciting to see whether the packet boat would find its way to Texel. Earlier this week it became clear in the Sinterklaas news that the light of the lighthouse was broken, making the arrival uncertain. In the end everything turned out fine and children throughout the country can put their shoes on tonight.
