Johanna Matintalo beat the rest of the Finns with the traditional ten of the Olos cannon competitions. Johanna Matintalo, 28, pulled off a medium-sized surprise on Saturday at the Olos cannonball competition. Starting with Kerttu Niskas and Krista Pärmäkoske, Pöytä outshone all the Finnish skiers and swooped handsomely to victory in the traditional-style 10-kilometer intermediate start race. Matintalo’s winning time was 30.21.5. Second place was shared by Jasmi Joensuu and Austria’s Teresa Stadlober (+7.4 seconds). Germany’s Laura Gimmler (+11.2) finished fourth.
