Christos Mouzakitis is one of the shooting stars in Greece and has now been voted “Golden Boy Web” 2025 by “Tuttosport” by his fans worldwide. The 18-year-old Olympiakos Piraeus midfielder follows in the footsteps of Kenan Yıldız, who received the most votes last year. The award ceremony will take place on December 1st at the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile in Turin.
The “Golden Boy Web” award was presented for the first time last year. Fans worldwide had the opportunity to vote for their favorite among 100 professionals. Mouzakitis prevailed against competitors such as Juventus professional Yıldız, Real Madrid’s Arda Güler and Borussia Dortmund’s Jobe Bellingham.
With a market value of 15 million euros, Mouzakitis is Olympiakos’ most valuable player and the second most valuable in the Greek Super League 1. Clubs such as Manchester United and Arsenal FC are said to have already scouted the Athens native, and the six-time Greek international has also been linked to BVB in the past.
PSG’s Doué named 2025 Golden Boy
Paris Saint-Germain’s Désiré Doué had previously been named “Golden Boy” 2025 by “Tuttosport”. The coveted trophy has been awarded since 2003 and there have been numerous well-known winners including Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi. From a German perspective, Mario Götze’s victory in 2011 will be remembered. At the end of each season, “Tuttosport” publishes a list of 100 professionals under the age of 21, which was shortened to 25 in October. Among them, 50 selected journalists choose the winner.
