Hamburger SV is one of the largest clubs in Germany. The news ticker on t-online contains all the important reports about the “Rothosen”.
An HSV supporter was seriously injured in the head during the away game in Cologne at the beginning of November. The Cologne criminal police are now urgently looking for witnesses to the incident.
According to police reports, the 25-year-old from Hesse got into an argument with a previously unknown fan towards the end of the game in the entrance area of the guest block N16. According to witnesses, the unknown man struck suddenly and for no apparent reason.
Bystanders treated the injured man and took him to the medics in the stadium. A few days later the man had to undergo surgery. A description of the suspected HSV supporter is not yet available. The Criminal Investigation Department 45 will receive information on 0221 229-0 or by email to [email protected].
Setback for Yussuf Poulsen: The Hamburger SV captain was injured again. As the Danish Football Association announced, the attacker sustained the injury during training with the national team on Wednesday and will be out of the next two international matches in the World Cup qualifiers against Belarus on Saturday and three days later in Scotland. Mika Biereth (AS Monaco) was nominated to replace Poulsen.
It is unclear whether Poulsen will be available for HSV in the next Bundesliga game at FC Augsburg on November 22nd. According to the Danish association, the 31-year-old was only “slightly” injured.
Due to muscular problems, Poulsen has not yet really gotten going since his move from RB Leipzig to Hamburg in the summer; he recently made his starting debut in the 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund. He has not yet managed to score a goal for Hamburg.
Hamburger SV clearly won a friendly against Dutch club FC Groningen. The Hanseatic League prevailed against the sixth-placed team in the honorary division with 6:3 (3:0).
Before the break, Emir Sahiti, Immanuel Pherai and Bakery Jatta scored for HSV. After the break, the Bundesliga team was a little more careless in defense, so the Dutch had three meetings. However, the HSV victory was not in danger. Again Sahiti, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer and Guilherme Ramos scored the other goals for the hosts.
After the international break, Hamburg continues in the Bundesliga with an away game at FC Augsburg.
The former goalkeeper of Hamburger SV, Martin Pieckenhagen, will in future be in charge of the affairs of the regional league team Kickers Offenbach as the new sports director. The 53-year-old will succeed the dismissed Christian Hock from November 21st, as the Hessians announced.
