Hans Klok has the feeling that the mother of Marco Borsato’s alleged victim is ‘crazy’ and that she is out to destroy the singer. “She put her daughter on display.”
The mother of his alleged victim, Nathalie T., will be very ashamed of what came out during the hearing days in the case against Marco Borsato. The singer painted a disturbing picture of a completely sexualized family, in which, according to him, her daughter A. was the plaything.
Crazy
Hans Klok thinks that mother is insane. “Yes. I thought that mother was crazy, because of all the stories I knew. In my opinion, she put her daughter on display. I heard that she once said: ‘I will destroy Marco’, and she succeeded,” he says in the Weekend.
He continues: “But now it’s happening to her. I mean, when I read social media, she’s being publicly shamed, with comments like, ‘What kind of mother are you?’ And rightly so, I think.”
Out of the way
Marco should have stayed far away from that woman and her daughter, according to Hans. “Yes, it’s the same as sometimes being at the wrong party. Thinking: I have to get out of here, it’s not my cup of teabut you still get stuck. He did not leave in time, he gave that family a second chance too many times.”
He continues: “I think Marco is the biggest victim in this case, I believe in his innocence. I see it as a miscarriage of justice if he is found guilty. You also saw that with Lucia de Berk. She was known as the angel of death, that poor woman. They had to give her a life sentence and a hospital order, because everyone in the country was watching.”
Framed
This is how the trial against Marco also feels to Hans. “The 500 hours of tapped conversations from the police have not been looked at. I think he was framed. You always have to be careful with fans. You need them, but they can also go crazy. Love and hate lie side by side.”
He concludes: “I thought it was crazy that those photographers were allowed in that courtroom, Marco sat there like a wild animal. It was a freak show.”
