Tyrick Bodak and Mitch Apau commuted between their hometown of Amsterdam and Velsen-Zuid last season. Telstar attackers Tyrese Noslin and Rojendro Oudsten will do that this year. “I see Tyrese as a brother. This year we really bonded in a short time through carpooling,” says Oudsten. “We talk a lot about football and what we can do better.”

Both players are now in the Curaçao selection. Noslin was selected for the first time at the end of August. The attacker was immediately important with a decisive goal.
“I then congratulated him and told him that he now has to get on with it,” Oudsten explains. “A sweet, open boy. He is calm, but honest. Yesterday he congratulated me because it was my birthday. We also talked about the possible World Cup. He had a positive feeling about it.”
Bodak is not always in the selection. The goalkeeper is obviously disappointed about that. “He really likes going there and it is of course super cool to be an international of Curaçao. I remember that he was always very disappointed if he was not there,” Apau remembers of the car rides.
