IS between most loved and followed Italian influencers for years. Also because – in addition to a “perfect” world made of red carpet and fashion system – on his social networks he also wanted to show all the difficulties encountered in its path, in the various areas of his life.
Paola Turani, 34, likes it because it is easygoing, nice, sometimes clumsy and uncoordinated. The “Tury” – as her followers call her amicably – can’t sing, she can’t dance, but she enjoys doing it on Instagram to make fans smile with her funny performances. Sometimes, however, returns serious to touch on issues that are particularly close to her heart. Like that of the body positivity.
The birth of Aeneas, Paola Turani’s first child
Three months ago, after having great difficulty getting pregnant, Paola Turani gave birth to her little Aeneas, had by her husband Riccardo Serpella. Her body, like that of all pregnant women, is changed. And although he has some difficulty in “recognizing” it, he wanted to launch a positive message to his followers.
She posted a photo collage with two pictures of her in her underwear. One taken before pregnancy and one today, three months after the birth of your baby. The body is now softer – Paola is also a model and has always been skinny – less sculpted (but still beautiful).
“This morning I happened to look at some old photos”, he began in the post, “how far that Paola seems to me from Paola now! And then the other day I take a picture of how I am now, three months after childbirth ».
How does this Paola feel? She asks herself. “More than good. Complete. Even happier. Although his body has changed, even though he has 5 kg more and does not know if it will return as before. But you want to put the gift of hold your child in your arms? There is no kg, there is no stomach or cellulite to hold “.
“It’s not easy to see the body changing”
In recent months, «the thought of my new shapes or kilograms has gone even further into the background. The priority and my first thought has always been Aeneas. […] It is not easy to see your body changing during pregnancy (I had put on a total of 20 kg) and it is not easy to look at yourself in the mirror in the months following the birth ». It can be difficult, he continues, “accept this change“.

But, he continues, «if we think about how and what created this incredible and perfect machine for 9 months I think it is right to respect her, to love her, make her take the time she needs without stressing her. How do i feel? A babe anyway. And maybe I recognize myself more now, less angular than a short time ago ».
The good intentions follow (it is still January): «I will start again a take care of my body without obsessions, to move by doing sports as I have always done, for myself. For feel good mentally and physically, not to lose weight. That if I think back to all the years in which I was fasting to get into a size 38 dress the word “lose weight” still scares me ». Well done Paola!
