After Kim Kardashian announced last week that she had failed the California bar exam, the reality star criticized the clairvoyants who had previously predicted her success.
In a TikTok throwback from her mother Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party, Kardashian can be seen venting about the psychics who falsely claimed she would pass the test.
“All the fucking psychics we’ve met and obsessed with are all full of fucking shit,” she says in the clip while talking to someone on the phone while having her hair and makeup done.
Kim Kardashian’s legal career
She continues. “All of them, maybe four of them, told me I would pass the bar exam. So they’re all pathological liars. Don’t believe anything they say.”
Kardashian passed the California bar exam in July. However, she only received her results last week. “Well… I’m not a lawyer yet. I just play a very well-dressed lawyer on TV,” Kardashian, who plays a high-profile divorce lawyer in Ryan Murphy’s “All’s Fair,” shared on Instagram. “Six years into my legal career, I’m still committed to passing the bar exam. No shortcuts, no giving up. Just more learning and more determination.”
In recent years, Kardashian has spoken openly about her desire to pursue a career as a lawyer. She has already passed the Baby Bar exam in California and graduated from law school in May after six years of legal training. Her training was also documented in The Kardashians. Last season, Kardashian was seen studying for the exam between filming All’s Fair.
Commitment to criminal justice reform
While pursuing her goal of working as a lawyer, Kardashian continues to advocate for criminal justice reform. She successfully pushed for several pardons during President Donald Trump’s first term. She met with him and with affected women whose prison sentences were reduced. In April 2024, she returned to the White House for a panel with then-Vice President Kamala Harris and recently pardoned former prisoners to discuss criminal justice reforms.
