Seven years in the making, but Antwerp resident creates the largest cut diamond in the world: “Between science and art”

Peter Herbosch, pioneer in laser processing of diamonds, has just completed the largest cut diamond in the world. ‘The Black Falcon’ is shaped like a falcon and weighs 612.34 carats. “With this project we confirm Antwerp’s reputation as an international center for diamond innovation and craftsmanship.”
