The pro-Palestinian demonstration at the Antwerp city hall again got out of hand on Monday evening and the police once again used water cannon to drive the demonstrators to Steenplein, where action is allowed. Majority party Vooruit can no longer tolerate this and is targeting coalition partner N-VA: “Antwerp has always been a peace-loving city, this is really not possible.”
