Giant gambling scandal in Turkey: more than a thousand players suspended, including substitute against Ajax

Turkish authorities have arrested eight people in the investigation into gambling on football matches, including a chairman of a top division club. The Turkish Football Association TFF has provisionally suspended 1,024 players who are under disciplinary investigation. Among them a duo from Galatasaray, who played against Ajax last week.
