“Unfortunately, the man had already died”: serious house fire in Sint-Amandsberg claims lives

A house on Dendermondsesteenweg in Sint-Amandsberg near Ghent was on fire on Sunday afternoon when the fire brigade arrived on the scene. The flames were shooting out of the roof. While extinguishing the fire, emergency services found a deceased person. This is a 71-year-old man. The public prosecutor’s office has appointed a fire expert to determine the cause of the fire.
