Koolhof convincing to last four doubles

Wesley Koolhof convincingly made it to the last four of the doubles. Together with his British partner Neal Skupski, he awarded Denis Shapovalov from Canada and Rohan Bopanna from India only three games: 6-2 6-1.

In the semifinals Koolhof and Skupski will face the Italians Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini.

Koolhof (32), the number 17 in the world in doubles, can qualify for the final battle of a masters tournament for the fourth time. In 2019 he reached the final in Miami with the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and that same year he also reached the final battle in Monte Carlo and Montreal, both times with Robin Haase.
