The results of the race held in Milan
Over 200 people attended Race of Remembrance 2025 held in the spectacular setting of the Parco delle Cave in Milan. The most awaited athlete Joanna Epis she did not disappoint expectations by winning, by a wide margin, the women’s 10 km race in 35 minutes and 15 seconds. At an average of 3.31 per km.

Timing aside, the Memory Run represented a close second for the 37-year-old Italian marathon runner efficiency tests. Carried out just 24 hours after an organic test of 18 progressive km completed at an average of 3 minutes and 42 seconds, completed on Saturday morning doing four laps around the San Siro Galoppo racecourse.
For her therefore also the confirmation of having reached the necessary state of form to line up at the start in the 21k half marathon on November 23rd in Milan. Intermediate stage towards the return to the marathon scheduled for February Seville.

Two other ever green athletes completed the podium: Alessia Brambillaborn in 1985, with 37.59, e Antonia Giangasperoborn in 1986, with 38.27. In the men’s race, easy success with 34.07, average 3.24 per km, for the 18 year old Michele Alamiaa promising middle-distance runner from the historic Pro Patria of Milan, with a personal best of 1.51.12 in the 800 meters obtained in the first year of the junior category. After him there is also a red circle for the student born in 2008 Giorgio Maria Fumagalli of Pro Sesto Atletica Cernusco, second place with 34.51. Over 130 arrived on the 10 km of the competitive race to be added to the almost 80 participants of the non-competitive 5 km race. As a curiosity, scrolling through the lists of finishers, we find in that of the athletes, 67th, with 46 minutes and 23 seconds, also the name of Giulio Gallera, born in 1969, former health councilor of the Municipality of Milan, fresh from the Frankfurt marathon.
