The day trippers who had planned a visit to BayArena this weekend were well catered for.

Within two minutes, Poku seemed to be heading for Heidenheim goalkeeper (and former Ajax player) Diant Ramaj after a deep pass from the back, but the winger was unable to get the ball. Poku retained control and passed the ball to Patrick Schick, who went around the outside and scored the 1-0.

It was the start of a flashy first half from the Leverkusen side, as after 27 minutes the home side already had a 4-0 lead on the scoreboard. After goals from Jonas Hofmann and Schick again, the fourth goal came from Poku. And how! From the penalty spot, the Dutch Juniors attacker sublimely extended a high cross from Arthur with his right foot into the far intersection.

From his goal, Mark Fleken, who was called up for the Dutch team, saw that his team was even allowed to go to the dressing room with a 5-0 score thanks to a goal by Ibrahim Maza in injury time. The same Maza also scored for the 6-0 shortly after half-time, after which visiting Heidenheim was spared further suffering.

Danilho Doekhi personally ensured that Bayern Munich suffered a loss of points in the Bundesliga for the first time this competition. The former defender of Vitesse and Excelsior scored twice in the draw (2-2) against Union Der Rekordmeister.

Doekhi gave Union the lead after half an hour, thanks to a blundering Manuel Neuer. The central defender shot towards goal from a corner and saw Neuer grab the ball over the goal line.

Luis Diaz ensured that both teams went to the dressing room at 1-1, but Doekhi scored again seven minutes before the end. After a free kick, he got the ball headed right in front of his feet in the goal mouth and swung out with his left, after which the ball flew into the right corner.

It was not an ultimate hero role for Doekhi, as Harry Kane gave Bayern a point deep in injury time.
