Former Prime Minister Sanna Marin39, talks about life after her divorce Hope is action in his book (Gummerus, 2025). Marin and Markus Raikkonen announced their divorce in the spring of 2023. They had a child in 2018 Emma-daughter.
In her work, Marin laments that during her time as prime minister she lived according to a minute schedule drawn up by someone else, and she was often unable to pick up her child from daycare. Marin wanted a better balance between work and family in her life, so that Emma’s childhood would not pass her by.
I still travel a lot in my work, but we live in Helsinki. I want Emma to go to Finnish schools and grow up in a familiar environment. There have already been enough changes in his life.

The couple dated for 19 years and were married for about three years. Today, Marin is connected with a hairdressing entrepreneur from Helsinki To Joni Willberg.
Räikkönen was last seen with Marin at his private party in March 2024. At that time, Marin and his former special assistant and current partner Tuulia Pitkänen held the Launch of their company MA/PI Oy at the Madonna restaurant in Helsinki.
Räikkönen published on his Instagram a picture from the evening where he posed close to Marin. Both were smiling widely in the picture.
