The entrepreneur of Lissu’s bars Liisa Kangasvieri wonders in his Tiktok video what has happened to Kariniemi’s roasted wings. The entrepreneur says in the video that he has been happily using wings in his restaurants for six years, but in the last couple of weeks the wings have not become crispy.
– Even if you bake them for a day, they won’t become crispy anymore, the entrepreneur amazes with a video that spread wildly on Tiktok.
He says in the video that he was also in contact with HKFoods because of the problem.
Those who commented below the video have similar experiences with the product.
– I thought the airfryer wasn’t working properly when they seemed to remain raw, so soft, writes one of the commenters under the video.
Innovation Director at HKFoods Marianne Nordblom says that he is aware of the complaint.
– We have received the feedback regarding the Kariniemi ripe wings in question. The quality change was caused by a deviation in the manufacturing process of the product, due to which the product quality did not meet our quality criteria.
Nordblom says that the deviation has had no effect on the safety of the product.
– We have made changes to our manufacturing process and have corrected the deviation. We apologize for the quality error and the trouble it caused.
