In its search for the next top talent, Eintracht Frankfurt is apparently once again looking to one of its favorite negotiating partners abroad. According to information from “Sky”, the SGE is considering a transfer of Paris Saint-Germain’s midfield talent Mathis Jangéal. The 17-year-old recently scored a goal against the youngsters from Bayer Leverkusen and FC Bayern in the UEFA Youth League.

It is said that there have already been concrete discussions between the Hessians and the Jangéal side. The French U16 international is only under contract with PSG until the end of the season and would therefore be free of charge next summer. Jangéal has been training with the current Champions League winners since 2021, and he has made one appearance for the professionals so far: in September in Ligue 1 against AJ Auxerre. Otherwise he played for the U19s, for whom the teenager recorded ten direct goal involvements in ten games.
Frankfurt has particularly enjoyed doing business with PSG in recent years. Since 2018, three arrivals have come from the French capital. After each loan, Kevin Trapp, junior Dina Ebimbe and Hugo Ekitiké were permanently signed. This resulted in transfers of 48.5 million euros. In return, three professionals have been sold to PSG since 2015 with a transfer volume of 144.5 million euros. Randal Kolo Muani alone accounted for 95 million euros, who, together with Ekitiké, is the Eagle Bearer’s record departure.
