Driver who deliberately hit people on the French island of Oléron was “possibly radicalized on his own”

The driver who deliberately hit people on the French island of Oléron on Wednesday may have been radicalized on his own. This was reported by Minister of the Interior Laurent Nuñez. It is not yet clear whether there are religious motives behind the attack. Five people were injured, two of whom are still in serious condition.
