In the imposing hall of the Hilton Buenos Aires Hotel, the Argentine artist, Adrián Lirman, presents his series “Queens”, an exhibition that pays tribute to women. The twelve works that make it up can be visited until November 25, with free admission throughout the day.
The strength, beauty and mystery of the feminine are the main concepts that are intensely expressed in each of the queens. Lirman manifests her symbolic and emotional universe, giving life to sovereign women of her inner world, strong, enigmatic and vulnerable figures. The queens have an intense gaze that challenges the audience, inviting them to engage in an intimate and moving dialogue.
Each painting is made with oil on canvas and is constituted as large-format works. Its intense colors and expressiveness in each stroke and in the general composition invite great reflection. The exhibition is curated by Dolores Valdés.
Lirman has a widely developed artistic career, combining painting and music perfectly. The early loss of his mother deeply marked his works. His path has led him to establish himself as a nationally and internationally recognized artist. This end of the year finds him traveling to different parts of the world presenting his artistic and musical works. In the coming days, his unpublished paintings will be presented at FN Gallery, Costa Rica, and in the month of December a series of works will be exhibited at the 801 Brickell building, Miami, and in the city of North Miami. At the end of November, Lirman will be touring the Atlantic coast as bassist for Lyonne, an Argentine singer and songwriter who lives in Copenhagen and is presenting her latest album in Argentina.

The “Queens” exhibition found a new exhibition space in the lobby of the Hilton Buenos Aires Hotel. It is a harmonious coexistence that expands its scope and allows encounters in a different way. Its inauguration took place on Sunday, October 19, coinciding with Mother’s Day, a very important date that reaffirms the symbology of the exhibition. Lirman honors the maternal figure and pays tribute to the feminine essence, while demonstrating that pain can be transformed into an art that celebrates life and emotion.

The room is open during the day and night, so that everyone can visit and appreciate the twelve queens that adorn the place. A unique and moving experience, which invites us to reflect and honor all women.
