Supermarket chain Jumbo is recalling its own brand of gluten-free spaghetti because it contains too much gluten. The supermarket chain warns that eating it can be dangerous for people with an allergy or intolerance to gluten.
“If you eat gluten-free, do not eat this product,” a spokesperson said. This concerns ‘Jumbo Delicious gluten-free spaghetti’ with an expiration date of 10-09-2028. The spaghetti has been on the shelves since October 15.
Jumbo says it finds the recall annoying. “If you have purchased the product, you can return it to a Jumbo store. We always refund the purchase price. A receipt is not necessary,” said the spokesperson.
