Our representative Galatasaray defeated Ajax away with a score of 3-0 in the 4th week match of the UEFA Champions League. After the match, coach Okan Buruk of the yellow-reds made remarkable statements.

We came here to beat Ajax and leave here with 9 points. We are in 9th place, we have top 8 targets. Maybe the next match will create this. We always dream and want this. Good things started in terms of play and self-confidence with the Liverpool match. We are playing very correct games. We played this match patiently, we knew that the match would change after scoring the first goal. Ajax were conceding goals very early, but today they conceded late.
They did not play with a winger in the first half, and from time to time they retained possession of the ball. However, we did not give too many positions. We wanted to start with Barış Alper Yılmaz to make an offensive move in the second half. Everyone played very well.
