Podcast host and wellness coach Nanna Karalahti published on Wednesday Instagram-father’s day cards made by their children in their stories.
The cards are addressed to an ex-hockey player who is currently in pretrial detention Jere to Karalahti. The former married couple have three children together: Jax9, Alexia7, and Felicia3.
In Nanna’s first picture, you can see a card made by Alexia, with descriptions of her father written underneath. Instagram stories are visible 24 hours after publication.
– Father is wonderful. Dad can wrestle. Dad likes to be with me. Dad doesn’t like fuss. It’s nice with dad. Father loves me, the card says.
Below the card, there is also a star colored on the edges, with “father” written in big letters in the middle.

Jax’s Father’s Day card has a word maze where he has hidden words that describe his father. The underlined words include the adjectives “best”, “dear”, “chief” and “super”.
Jere has been in pretrial detention for about a month already. He was imprisoned by the district court’s decision on October 2, on probable cause, on suspicion of a serious drug crime. The suspected crime took place between June and September this year.
Jere has twice demanded to be released from pretrial detention, but both times the Helsinki District Court has rejected the request. The last discussion on the subject took place on Monday of this week.
Father of an ex-hockey player Arto Karalahti recently told Iltalehti that only the common-law wife and Jere’s daughter Ronja are allowed to call this prison. Arto has been able to contact his son by e-mail. There is no information about Jere’s contact with his and Nanna’s shared children.
Nanna Karalahti said on Instagram in August that the children have been with her one hundred percent since the beginning of the year.
– Of course, I only want the best for them and that is the reason why I will never say anything bad about my children’s father. I will always want them to have a good relationship, Nanna said.
– But I also no longer accept bad behavior of any kind, that now there is no need to smooth anything or maintain the scenes, he added.
Nanna and Jere’s divorce took effect last summer.
