The German professional cyclist Pascal Ackermann will be riding for the Jayco AlUla team from the new season.
As the racing team announced on Wednesday, the sprinter signed a two-year contract. Ackermann’s current working paper at Israel-Premier Tech expires at the end of the year.
“Team Jayco AlUla is a team with a great history that I looked up to when I was younger. It has always been my dream to be a part of this team, so I am very excited about this opportunity,” said Ackerman. “For me it is definitely the best team to continue pursuing my dream of winning the race! Let’s attack in 2026 and get back to the top.”
Successful at Classique Dunkerque
Jayco AlUla is delighted to welcome Pascal to the team, said Managing Director Brent Copeland. “We are convinced that he will fit in very well with the team’s proven sprint train. Throughout his career he has shown that he can win at the highest level, as evidenced by his numerous stage victories in the Grand Tours.”
Ackermann celebrated his last success to date in May 2025 at the first staging of the Classique Dunkerque one-day race in France.
