Vinícius Júnior caused trouble again at Real Madrid – after a scandal in the Clásico he is now threatened with elimination. The club apparently plans to sell the Brazilian in the summer of 2026.
A spectacular separation is looming at Real Madrid. According to information from “Sport Bild”, the club is preparing to say goodbye to Vinícius Júnior (market value: 150 million euros) in the summer of 2026. The Spanish record champions are reacting to an escalation during the Clásico against Barça at the end of October.
During the 2-1 win in Barcelona, Vinícius complained loudly and with lots of gestures about being substituted by coach Xabi Alonso. A public apology became mandatory – he also had to explain himself internally to the team and coach.
On the same day, a report appeared in the US portal “The Athletic” that discussed the dissatisfaction of individual players with Alonso’s leadership style. It quotes a source close to the team as claiming: “He thinks he is Pep Guardiola, but so far he is just Xabi.” These statements were attributed to the Brazilian national player’s environment.
Club president Florentino Pérez is known for supporting his stars. In the Vinícius case, however, a line appears to have been crossed. Too many special paths in recent years, now also an open conflict with the new coach – probably too much for Pérez.
