Max Dowman from Arsenal FC is now the youngest player in the Champions League.
At the age of 15 years, 10 months and 4 days, the offensive talent was substituted on by team manager Mikel Arteta in his Gunners’ 3-0 away win at Slavia Prague.
Dowman replaced former German international Youssoufa Moukoko, who made his debut in the premier class in Borussia Dortmund’s away game at Zenit St. Petersburg in 2020 at the age of 16 years and 18 days.
Not the only 15-year-old in the Premier League
In the Premier League, Dowman, considered a great English offensive talent, made his debut in the game against Leeds United at the end of August.
Dowman was already training with the top stars as a 14-year-old. He turns 16 on December 31st. Dowman is the third 15-year-old to appear in the Premier League, alongside Ethan Nwaneri and Jeremy Monga.
