Man is stuck on an island in North Holland for more than two days after a shipwreck: “It looks like a movie scenario”

Last Sunday, the Royal Dutch Rescue Society (KNRM) rescued a man from the island ‘De Kreupel’ in the IJsselmeer, in the Dutch province of North Holland. He was stranded there for more than two days after his sailboat was shipwrecked. “It looks like a movie scenario,” the rescue service wrote in a message on Facebook.
