It’s an absolutely top game: FC Bayern visiting Paris. The German record champions want to achieve their next victory with this team.
On the fourth matchday of the Champions League, FC Bayern will face a big showdown with defending champions Paris Saint-Germain. In the duel on Tuesday (9 p.m. in the live ticker on t-online), Bayern will be second in the table against the leaders with the same points in Prinzenpark.
After 15 wins in the 15 competitive games of the season so far, PSG is “the most difficult task in football at the moment for Bayern,” said coach Vincent Kompany before the clash. How does he plan to complete this task?
Kompany is sending this eleven into the race:
After the recent XXL rotation, Kompany is once again relying on his best cast. Goalkeeper Harry Kane and wingers Michael Olise and Luis Díaz return to the starting line-up alongside Serge Gnabry in attack. In the most recent Bundesliga game against Bayer Leverkusen (3-0), Kompany rested his top stars and switched to seven positions.
In the Prinzenpark, sixth man Aleksandar Pavlović alongside Joshua Kimmich is given preference over Leon Goretzka. Defense chief Dayot Upamecano is also back in the starting lineup and will play alongside Jonathan Tah in central defense, while Josip Stanišić will provide stability at the back left. Right-back Konrad Laimer and captain Manuel Neuer in goal are still set.
