The Champions League is in full swing and at the Parc des Princes two of the big favorites for the final victory are competing: PSG and Bayern are preparing for a match which, although it only occurs on the 4th day of the group, has all the air of an early final. Let’s find out the prediction and odds for PSG-Bayern, scheduled for Tuesday 4 November at 9pm.
PSG-BAYERN Odds Prediction
—
Both leading the single group with full points, PSG and Bayern have respectively the best and second best attack in the competition: 13 goals scored so far by the Parisians, 12 by the Bavarians, an average of at least 3 per game. Bayern is literally dominating the Bundesliga: 9 wins in 9 matches and a 5-point margin ahead of second-placed Leipzig for the Bavarians, already heading towards yet another title. A few more setbacks for PSG, who are first in Ligue 1, but with a decidedly smaller margin over their pursuers, due to the 3 draws in the last 5 matches and the defeat against De Zerbi’s Marseille.
It is therefore logical to expect a match full of goals and emotions: both teams ended 2 of the first 3 matches of the group with a goal outcome. Hypothesis that could be confirmed at the Parc des Princes, perhaps maturing in the second half, when the teams will be longer and exposed to opposing attacks: the Goal in the 2nd half is worth 2.22 on William Hill and Vincitu, 2.20 on Bet365 and 2.15 on Eurobet.
DEMBÉLÉ-KANE: WHAT A CHALLENGE!
—
PSG is slightly favored in the bookmakers’ analysis, with the 1 mark worth 2.50 against the 2.65 for Bayern’s success and the 4 touched by the draw. Odds justified by the precedents: the Germans have in fact won all the last four matches played in the Champions League, all – sensationally – without conceding a goal. The last ever match, however, took place at the Club World Cup and saw the Parisians win 2-0. The operators, however, in this case, expect a match with both teams scoring: the Goal is worth just 1.33, while the No Goal shoots up to 3.25. In terms of scorers, the big favorites are Harry Kane and Ousmane Dembélé: a goal from the Englishman is worth between 1.88 and 2.25, while the Ballon d’Or in the net pays between 2.25 and 2.33.
