The victim was stopped between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. in Park Zwanenburg, on the east side of the village. Villagers on social media speculate that it could be a robbery, but the police cannot say anything about this yet due to the ongoing investigation.
The man escaped without physical injuries, after which the police launched a major search operation. For example, a helicopter hovered above the village for a long time, looking for the suspects.
Earlier robberies in Park Zwanenburg
These were eventually found. These are three men between 18 and 22 years old from Amsterdam, Haarlem and IJmuiden. They are stuck for the time being.
It is not the first time that someone has had a firearm pointed at them in Park Zwanenburg. Last summer, two robberies took place. Someone was arrested for that shortly afterwards.
